Underwater Art in Cancún

Hundreds of life-size human sculptures have been installed as part of a new underwater sculpture garden off Cancún, Mexico. This magical underworld world is the incredible creation of British sculptor Jason deCaires Taylor at the Mexican location known as the Museo Subacuatico de Arte. DeCaires Taylor now has 510 sculptural works permanently on display at the site, many of which feature live coral. In fact, part of the purpose of the project is to create a new coral reef and protect the natural habitat.
